Nice 1880s-1890 "Liverpool" Style Heavy Draft Bridle Bit |

Here is a Real Nice Old ca. 1880's-1890's, Draft Bit often
called a Liverpool Bit ! The Military sometimes used these as
wagon bits, on their draft horses. This one is in good condition with
only very minor surface rusting, and not excavated. Hooks still
present on both sides for the curb chain, and mouthpiece will still
slide. Marked on the mouthpiece -Steel- & -B.C.-, there is also a
mark on the side that I think says, -Martin- . A Nice Old Bit in

Here's a Very Good Condition 127 year old piece of
Cavalry Leather, an M1885 Linkstrap ! Complete and
undamaged, leather still fairly pliable, and hardware present.
Riveted brass adjustment hook still solid, and spring still good
in the double iron snap on opposite end. Leather near the snap
end is marked with a number -5-. A Very Nice Example of
A Working Piece of Historical US Cavalry Leather !

Here is a Real Nice Cavalry Rosette for the M1885 Bridle !
Complete with retaining washer, it measures 1.75 inches diameter,
while washer is just .5 inches in diameter. Both pieces have an old
patina that looks excavated, but I'm not positive. It could be lightly
cleaned and used with an M1885 headstall if needed. Nice

Here is a Fine Condition Original M1885 US Cavalry
Headstall, w/Both Correct Bulleye Rosettes Intact !
Leather is showing some crazing here and there, but actually in
very good condition. Both rosettes firmly attached, and all the
rectangular brass buckles in good working order. Leather is
stamped with a -GS- and a -C-. A Nice Completely All
Original Indian Wars Era US Cavalry Headstall !
