Nice 1880s-1890 "Liverpool" Style Heavy Draft Bridle Bit
Nice 1880s-1890 "Liverpool" Style Heavy Draft Bridle Bit
Here is a Real Nice Old ca. 1880's-1890's, Draft Bit often
called a Liverpool Bit !  The Military sometimes used these as
wagon bits, on their draft horses. This one is in good condition with
only very minor surface rusting, and not excavated. Hooks still
present on both sides for the curb chain, and mouthpiece will still
slide. Marked on the mouthpiece -Steel- & -B.C.-, there is also a
mark on the side that I think says, -Martin- . A Nice Old Bit in
Great Shape !
