With prices these days, the fakers work overtime trying to fool us all, but should you ever discover that an item you purchased from Campsite Artifacts is not period correct, I WILL make it right. Lastly, remember that these items are 150 years old, and often even older. Few if any, spent that time in an environmentally controlled climate, or on a rack in some arsenal or museum. Many were lost in the field, some were taken home and used for decades after the war, and all are going to show evidence of the passage of time, years of use after the war in some cases, and even damage from being in the ground in some cases. They are after all, relics and artifacts of the mid-1800s. They are pieces of history which it is our privilege to care for now.
