Here's the 102 year old bridge over War Eagle River, just this last spring. Over the Summer, it was closed for 3 months, while restoration work proceeded. |

The bridge was stipped down to it's bare iron beams, and many of those were replaced. Then the entire iron structure received a coat of rust inhibitor, and two coats of paint, and all the timbers were replaced. |

It sure looks wonderful now, and finished just in time for our Fall Craft Fair at War Eagle. Good thing too, as we usually have over 200,000 visitors in just the four days of the fair. |

If anyone has had trouble reaching me the last few weeks, this is why !! We have to start preparing for this crowd over a month ahead of time, and during the actual Fair, it is 12 hour plus days. The bridge is crowded with pedestrians like this from about 7:00am to 6:00pm each day of the fair ! |

We had a couple of good bands performing on the front porch of the mill most of the time. Good music made it a little easier to hustle all day long. Below are a few more pictures of the Fair Crowd. |
