4-17-14 A lot of you know that I always try to fill this space with an item of historical interest, but I simply can’t resist the opportunity to show the Excellent Catfish recently caught by my nephews, Max & Benji Burgess ! Those boys went fishing recently with their dad, my little brother Michael Burgess, and just had an outstanding time. The family lives in Houston, Texas, but Mike took the boys fishing near Corsicana, Texas.
Mike said the boys were fishing “somewhere” on Richard Chambers Lake outside of Corsicana when Max caught the 35 pound Flathead Cat, and Benji the 20 pound Blue Cat. I can tell by the smiles on their faces both boys were very pleased with their catch and I know I certainly would be too ! Congratulations boys, I’ll try and come down soon in case you want to take Uncle out and show him how it’s done !! SB
